CG Student Completes Micro Internship in Autos Industry
Cary-Grove senior Ethan Schneider gained hands-on experience as an auto service technician through a micro-internship with M’Lady Nissan in Crystal Lake.
“Just this experience, paired with the classes I took in high school, really helped me to find a position to start in the industry,” said Ethan Schneider, a student.
Ethan worked on general car maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, and coolant flushing, strengthening his interest in a career in the automotive industry.
“What I’m teaching him is what I do daily as a technician. I’m teaching him what to look for, what to check, and how I do things,” said Gentry Lawson, M’Lady Nissan Technician.
