2021 Fall Play Auditions
FAILURE: A Love Story Cast
Congratulations to the cast of the 2021 fall play, FAILURE: A Love Story.
Auditions for all Cary-Grove Drama productions consist of a 30-second to one-minute monologue. For fall play, monologues are provided in the audition materials. Actors are asked to choose their own monologues for spring play auditions.
For the fall play, there will be a monologue workshop the day before the general audition. Actors are encouraged to attend to receive feedback on their audition piece before auditioning.
Callbacks will be held for the fall and spring play as needed. Callback materials will be provided to actors via Google Drive.
Callback and cast lists will be posted on the AUDITIONS page after auditions.
By the end of 1928, all three Fail sisters will be dead - expiring in reverse order, youngest to oldest, from blunt object to the head, disappearance, and finally, consumption. Tuneful songs and a whimsical chorus follow the story of Nelly, Jenny June, and Gerty as they live out their lives above the family clock repair shop near the Chicago River, before their time unexpectedly runs out. We are excited to welcome back our CG Drama audience for this magical, musical fable where, in the end, the power of love is far greater than any individual's successes or failures.
Performances are October 21 - 23 at the Cary-Grove High School Fine Arts Center.
Activity Passes accepted!
